Formula 1

One of the most famous car racing sports is formula 1.It started in 1950 the idea was which manufacture can win  big prizes. The name formula one refers to a set of rules with which all drivers must comply and one of the rules is one team supposed to have 2 cars and 4 drivers per session. The point system is who gets the first place will get 25 points;  in second place 18; the third  places 15  and the fourth place is 12; in fifth place 10 .

The first winner of the formula 1 champion ship was Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo. The objective of this racer is to make the Formula one famous and popular to the world so they decided to do the races in different countries. At first the number of cars was little but the competition was difficult at that time and of course the roads did not help that much.  The races stopped for a long time but they relived again in 1983 but with more cars and more winning prizes.

In 2000 they started to use a different strategy to increase the audience and the profits so they created an official logo and a website for this sport to let the people know about the rules and who to calculate the result; also to know the next location of the races will held.In 2001 the number of audiences increase up to 45 million people but the largest was in 2008 it increases up to 800 million per a session . In 2008 and 2009 Honda,BMW and Toyota withdrew from races due to economic recession. Michael Schumacher is one of the legends of formula one and he won the competition 7 times. The formula become a big business so most car manufactures  can raise the name of their company and increase the sales of the cars.
